(Message # 843)

Unless You Pray and Sacrifice More, the War Will Come

(Various dates 1991 to 1993)

Beginning months before the January 1991 War in the Gulf, Jesus and the Blessed Mother gave Nancy messages requesting prayers and sacrifices and Masses for peace. On March 22, 1991, shortly after the brief war ended, Jesus said, "How quick you are to cease your prayers for peace the moment you think your peace is achieved."

On August 20, 1992, the Blessed Mother said, "I am Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God. A great war is coming. Unless you pray and sacrifice more, the war will come. It will not be stopped. Please children, pray more. Sacrifice more. My Son is giving you many graces.

"When obstacles come your way, be patient. My Son is permitting this for a reason.

"Let the priests offer many Masses for peace."

"Let the priests offer many Masses for peace. It is very important. Pray, pray, pray. I love you, my precious little children.

"Please spread my messages. Help others to hear them. I am only a messenger sent from Heaven to echo my Son's words. I ask each of you to be a messenger for me, for my Son."

The Blessed Mother keeps telling us that she needs our prayers and sacrifices. On December 2, 1992, Nancy saw the Blessed Mother, clothed in black, appear with the Christ Child. There was also a darkness nearby. As the Blessed Mother would move toward the darkness, the darkness would move away. It appeared as if the Blessed Mother was helping us by pushing the darkness away. Nancy has seen the same vision many times since then.

On April 9, 1993 (Good Friday) and later on April 23rd and 24th, Nancy again saw visions of the Blessed Mother in black and the darkness. This time the Blessed Mother did not move towards the darkness and the darkness remained. It was as if the Blessed Mother could no longer push the darkness away. Could these recent visions mean that the Blessed Mother is dressed in black because she is sad because we are not responding with the prayers and sacrifices that she asks from us to help move the darkness away?

On April 25th Nancy was listening to a demonstration of a planned Our Loving Mother's Telephone Network on a friend's telephone answering machine,. On the answering machine was a recording of Jesus' February 23, 1993 message and of the Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. As Nancy listened to the recording, she saw a vision of the Blessed Mother with the Christ Child and a darkness nearby. This time the Blessed Mother moved towards the darkness and the darkness moved away.

Throughout the week that followed, Nancy continued to have visions of the Blessed Mother, dressed in black and facing the darkness. Neither the Blessed Mother nor the darkness moved. The only time that the darkness had moved during the previous few weeks was when Nancy heard Jesus' message on the importance of the Consecrations to His Sacred Heart and to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The betrayal of Jesus in the words of Pope Benedict XVI

April 14, 2006

Nancy was talking to a friend this morning, Good Friday. She asked her friend, "Why was I betrayed by the people that I trusted." Her friend told her that she had just read an article about the betrayal of Jesus in the words of Pope Benedict XVI.

"...According to the Pope Judas freely chose to betray Jesus: 'an open rejection of God's love.' Judas according to Ratzinger "viewed Jesus in terms of power and success: his only real interests lied with his power and success, there was no love involved. He was a greedy man: money was more important than communing with Jesus; money came before God and His love." According to the Pope it was due to these traits that led Judas to "turn liar, two-faced, indifferent to the truth," "losing any sense of God," "turning hard, incapable of converting, of being the prodigal son, hence throwing away a spent existence." (AGI)

After her friend read the words of Pope Benedict XVI on the betrayal of Jesus by Judas, Nancy said, "we have received a powerful teaching on Good Friday."

Note: Earlier in the week, a priest was speaking about the controversy about the gospel of Judas.  He said from the pulpit, "The difference between us and Judas is that Judas never turned back to God."

April 13, 2006 - (news article that was read)

VATICAN: POPE BANISHES JUDAS' GOSPEL
(AGI) - Vatican, Apr 13 - The Vatican, by word of Pope Ratzinger, grants the recently surfaced Judas' Gospel no credit with regards to its apocryphal claims that Judas betrayed Jesus in compliance with the latter's own requests. According to the Pope Judas freely chose to betray Jesus: "an open rejection of God's love". Judas according to Ratzinger "viewed Jesus in terms of power and success: his only real interests lied with his power and success, there was no love involved. He was a greedy man: money was more important than communing with Jesus; money came before God and his love". According to the Pope it was due to these traits that led Judas to "turn liar, two-faced, indifferent to the truth", "losing any sense of God", "turning hard, incapable of converting, of being the prodigal son, hence throwing away a spent existence".
