I Am Right There with Them Every Moment

Jesus said to Nancy, "Still can not figure Me out, can you? I will have to say, you are one daughter who sure tries."

Nancy exclaimed, "Eeks! I am not so sure that is good."

"You are very loving and simple when you try. Many others are not. It is best to recognize your nothingness and depend on Me for everything."

"It is best to recognize your nothingness and depend on Me for everything."

Nancy then saw light come off of Jesus onto George's back. The friend said, "You are doing good work, George."

Jesus then said, "How about saying, I do good work."

"Please tell My children I am right there with them every moment. Please, won't you do this? Please try. Please try for love of Me.

"Thank you for listening. Thank you for writing. Thank you for being My friends."

Afterwards, George and the friend were reflecting on the words of Jesus. George said, "We all have our jobs. If I saw the light and had visions, I could not concentrate on writing the message and doing the things Jesus has called me to do through the messages and what He has placed in my heart."

The friend said, "We each have a job He desires for us to do. We are given the graces by God to do this job. Each person's job is different yet very important to Jesus." Nancy then experienced a bolt of chills and said these thoughts should be published with the message.

The betrayal of Jesus in the words of Pope Benedict XVI

April 14, 2006

Nancy was talking to a friend this morning, Good Friday. She asked her friend, "Why was I betrayed by the people that I trusted." Her friend told her that she had just read an article about the betrayal of Jesus in the words of Pope Benedict XVI.

"...According to the Pope Judas freely chose to betray Jesus: 'an open rejection of God's love.' Judas according to Ratzinger "viewed Jesus in terms of power and success: his only real interests lied with his power and success, there was no love involved. He was a greedy man: money was more important than communing with Jesus; money came before God and His love." According to the Pope it was due to these traits that led Judas to "turn liar, two-faced, indifferent to the truth," "losing any sense of God," "turning hard, incapable of converting, of being the prodigal son, hence throwing away a spent existence." (AGI)

After her friend read the words of Pope Benedict XVI on the betrayal of Jesus by Judas, Nancy said, "we have received a powerful teaching on Good Friday."

Note: Earlier in the week, a priest was speaking about the controversy about the gospel of Judas.  He said from the pulpit, "The difference between us and Judas is that Judas never turned back to God."

VATICAN: POPE BANISHES JUDAS' GOSPEL
(AGI) - Vatican, Apr 13 - The Vatican, by word of Pope Ratzinger, grants the recently surfaced Judas' Gospel no credit with regards to its apocryphal claims that Judas betrayed Jesus in compliance with the latter's own requests. According to the Pope Judas freely chose to betray Jesus: "an open rejection of God's love". Judas according to Ratzinger "viewed Jesus in terms of power and success: his only real interests lied with his power and success, there was no love involved. He was a greedy man: money was more important than communing with Jesus; money came before God and his love". According to the Pope it was due to these traits that led Judas to "turn liar, two-faced, indifferent to the truth", "losing any sense of God", "turning hard, incapable of converting, of being the prodigal son, hence throwing away a spent existence".
