Read On

"Unless you are following in His footsteps, you are not following."

A person was willfully hurting Nancy with things that he was saying and doing. Nancy sometimes would get upset and wanted to defend herself by fighting back. George was inspired to read the following to Nancy from page 86 of "The Holy Will of God - Source of Peace and Happiness" [see Bibliography]. George thought that these words would help Nancy find and understand the Will of God in this difficult situation:

"No sin, no injustice, no moral imperfection whatsoever may be directly related to God, who is eternal and infinite Sanctity. Hence, whenever people are consciously unjust to you, so as to offend God thereby, they cannot consider their acts the Will of God. They are deliberately opposing the Will of God. However, this is only one side of the picture."

As George finished reading the above paragraph, Jesus said through Nancy, "Read on." George continued reading:

"When you consider, so to say, the reverse of the medal, any kind of injustice will appear to your eyes as an event conformable to the Will of God. This is true when you consider your side of the injustice. In other words, as the sinner who persecutes a just soul undoubtedly offends God, so the victim of persecution is certainly complying with the Will of God while he patiently and peacefully endures the wrong.

"Most people, even those striving for perfection, contemplate the injustice inflicted upon them, so to say, from the wrong side. Instead of asking what God wants them to do, to think and to feel at the time of the injustice, they rather angrily and persistently inquire why people commit that injustice. Now it is God who has reserved for Himself the right to judge and to sentence the persecutor; the victim's only obligation is peacefully to suffer the inflicted evils. That is to say that any wrong done to a person must be accepted by the innocent sufferer as the manifest Will of God."

"Human nature, created to the likeness of God, and basically good, keenly resents every kind of injustice. However, enlightened souls are always mindful of the truth that man, after Original Sin, has only a very restricted right to complain about the hardships of life. Should he even be subjected to every possible wrong and injustice on earth, still his debt to God would be greater than all his sufferings combined. Does not revelation teach us that one mortal sin deserves eternal punishment in Hell? Consequently, refrain from viewing your little earthly afflictions and adversities as wrongs done to you. You often repeat this humble prayer: My fault, my fault, my most grievous fault ... Be consistent, then, and do not take the alleged wrongs you suffer too tragically.

"Striving for religious sanctity is tantamount to following in the footsteps of Our Lord Jesus Christ. If you have left this goal out of your sight, then you have definitely wandered from the path of evangelical perfection, if not from the way of salvation. Now, who on earth has ever suffered wrongs comparable to those inflicted upon the Innocent Lamb of God, the OnlyBegotten Son of the Eternal Father, absolutely equal to Him in sanctity? Jesus was not only ignored and despised by the leaders of Israel, but accused of revolt against the Law of God, of falsehood, of pride, of blasphemy. As a result, He was publicly executed on the gallows of the Cross, between two notorious thieves. All this took place after countless and manifest miracles wrought by the Savior in testimony of His Divine mission and of the truth of His doctrine.

"How is it possible that souls, contemplating the Passion and the Death of Jesus Christ, and striving for perfection, can protest so bitterly against the alleged wrongs inflicted upon them? Are they not renouncing real religious sanctity by doing so?

"We agree that patient and peaceful surrender to unjust treatment inflicted by our neighbor does not necessarily mean complete indifference and absolute passivity. Even Jesus, our Divine Model, protested at times against injuries and wrongs, though always in a very mild and peaceful manner. Whether to suffer in silence, or to take necessary measures for selfdefense, depends upon circumstances. But one thing is sure: The more fervent a soul is in the service of God, and the higher the sanctity she is tending towardthe more reasons she finds to imitate Jesus by remaining silent before the tribunals of unjust authorities.

"A soul sincerely abandoned to God will prudently and peacefully defend her cause only in instances when her conscience urges her to do so. And this happens rather seldom.

"And do you know, Dear Soul, what constitutes the most effective selfdefense? It consists above all in humble silence, unlimited patience and special kindness toward those who are responsible for your sufferings. Individuals vociferous in their selfdefense are seldom right and rarely innocent. On the contrary, the religious who confides his cause to Divine Providence and consequently refrains from all violent measures and words of selfdefense, is sooner or later found to be right. Try this excellent method. It is not the easiest of all, but with God's grace you are able to practice even heroic virtue."

"... The only way to lasting peace, both in our soul and in our Community, is described by Our Lord Himself in these words: 'Learn of me, because I am meek and humble of heart.' (Matt. 11:29).

"Indeed, blessed are those who begin to resemble Jesus, the meekest Lamb of God."

Sacred Heard of Jesus
In Loving Memory of Nancy
April 11, 1948 - January 10, 2012

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May the souls of the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God,
rest in peace. Amen.

Anima Christi

Soul of Christ, make me holy.
Body of Christ, save me.

Blood of Christ, inebriate me
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.

Passion of Christ. make me strong
Good Jesus, hear me
Hide me in your wounds.

Let me never be separated from you.

Deliver me from the wicked enemy.

Call me at the hour of my death,
And tell me to come to you
That with all the saints I may praise
You forever and ever.

 Amen.

(Message # 928) 2/13/1993
My Children Want the Glory but Do Not Want to Walk the Passion with My Son

Nancy said, "The cross has been very heavy lately."

The Blessed Mother said, "Remember it is a privilege to carry the cross. Simon the Cyrene was given the great privilege of carrying the cross even though he did not want to." Everything in the corner of the apparition room was bursting in light.

"Tell My children that Purgatory exists."

Nancy prayed for a new bishop [the Atlanta Archdiocese was without a bishop], for the people present and, especially, for the sick. A beautiful white cross appeared above the Blessed Mother's head. At the same moment, a single tear came from her eye as she said, "My children want the glory but do not want to walk the Passion with my Son."

Nancy asked about the people she recently saw in visions at Mass.

"They are souls from Purgatory. Tell my children that Purgatory exists. Thank you for helping me."

•  Nancy's vision at Consecration - May 7, 2010
At the moment of the Consecration, she saw an angel appear glowing in a beautiful white light. After the Consecration she was writing her experiences in her journal, a light flashed on it. She thanked God for everything as she reflected on life. She thanked Him for the Holy Eucharist and His presence in the poor. The Crucifix before her was glowing in a mystical white light. The Lord speaks in the silence of our hearts, it does not matter the tone of man’s skin, God looks in the hearts of man.

Angel of Peace Prayer from Fatima

"Most Holy Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences whereby He is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners."

In Conyers, Georgia, the Blessed Mother, Our Loving Mother, asked:

"Let this prayer be echoed
all over the world".

•  Rosary Novena for Nancy Day 6 - August 11, 2009

Nancy went up New England to attend one of Fr. Ralph Diorio's healing Mass. She was sad to know that he was unable to attend due to the fact that he had collapsed that past Sunday from heat exhaustion and dehydration. Yet her sadness was soon to turn into joy, for at the moment a basket full of petitions written by the faithful was brought up to the Altar at the moment of the offertory at the Mass, suddenly behind the Altar, Nancy saw Jesus appear behind the Altar and to her amazement, He exposed to her His Most Sacred Heart. It was a rare vision.

Attending Holy Mass and receiving Holy Communion devoutly and in the state of graces is one of the greatest deeds that can be done here on earth because, by doing so, we are immersed in the great mystery of redemption. Would that our physical eyes could see what transpires at the Mass! Often God would show that to certain gifted souls and their duty becomes to convey it to us for the encouragement of the Mystical body of Christ, the Church. We are the Church!
