The Songs And Prayers on the 13th
(prayed around 12:00pm on the 13th)
We will begin by praying the two Consecrations to the
Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the
Immaculate heart of Mary.
Then we will sing
The Fatima Song
and pray the 15 decades of the most Holy Rosary.
1.
The leader will recite the first half of most prayers starting at the "†" and we
will all recite the prayers and sing the songs at the "R".
2.
Please pray in your native tongue. Our Blessed Mother has requested this.
3.
Our Blessed Mother also requested at the end of each decade, after the
Fatima Prayer,
"O My Jesus", we say the
"God, Our Father"
prayer.
4.
Please then sing the
"Ave Maria"
following the "God, Our Father" prayer.
5.
Please remember the importance of praying from the heart. Pray slowly.
6.
After the Rosary, there will be a speaker and questions and answers.
7.
After the speaker, we are all asked to meet at the Holy Hill at 3 PM for
the Divine Mercy Chaplet and songs to thank
Jesus as our Blessed Mother has asked us to do.
Consecration
to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
R:
Adorable Heart of Jesus, the tenderest, the most amiable, the most generous of all
hearts, penetrated with gratitude at the sight of Thy benefits, I come to consecrate
myself wholly and unreservedly to Thee! I wish to devote all my energies to propagating
Thy worship and winning, if possible, all hearts to Thee. Receive my heart this
day, O Jesus!
Or rather take it, change it, purify it, to render it worthy of Thee; Make it humble,
gentle, patient, faithful and generous like Thine, by inflaming it with the fire
of Thy love. Hide it in Thy Divine Heart with all hearts that love Thee and are
consecrated to Thee; never permit me to take my heart from Thee again. Let me rather
die than grieve Thy Adorable Heart. Thou knowest O Heart of Jesus, that the desire
of my heart is to love Thee always, to be wholly Thine in life and in death, in
time and eternity. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Sacred Heart of
Jesus, I trust in Thee.
Consecration
to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
R:
I, (name), a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in thy hands, O Immaculate
Mother, the vows of my baptism; I renounce Satan, his pomps and works; and I give
myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him
all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before.
In the presence of all the Heavenly court I choose thee this day for my Mother and
Mistress. I deliver and consecrate to thee, as thy slave, my body and soul, my goods,
both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present
and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all
that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater
glory of God, in time and in eternity. Amen.
The Fatima Song
Our Lady of Fatima, sent from above, appeared to three children to tell of God's
love:
Refrain: Ave, Ave, Ave Maria!
Ave, Ave, Ave Maria!
1. In
Fatima's Cove on the thirteenth of May, the Virgin Maria appeared at midday.
2.
The Virgin Maria surrounded by light, God's Mother is ours, for she gives us this
sight.
3.
The world was then suffering from war, plague, and strife, and Portugal mourned
for her great loss of live.
4.
To three shepherd children the Virgin then spoke a message so hopeful, with peace
for all folk.
5.
With sweet Mother's pleading, she asked us to pray, do penance, be modest, the Rosary
each day.
6.
All Portugal heard what God's Mother did say, converted it sings of that Queen to
this day.
7.
We all must remember Our Lady's request, do all that she asks for, obey her requests.
8.
She warned of behavior from which we must turn, of thoughts, words, and actions
which Christians must spurn.
9.
She told us that Jesus is so much offended, and asked that our living be firmly
amended.
10.
To her sad, sweet pleading our promise is made, that God's Law in all things be
strongly obeyed.
11.
From nation to nation her fair name is praised, as souls from sin's bondage are
contritely raised.
12.
Our thanks to the Godhead, whose ways are so sure, for giving us Mary, our Mother
Most Pure.
13.
Our hearts, overflowing with kindness and love thank her for God's graces bestowed
from above.
14.
Hail, Refuge of sinners! Hail, Star of the Sea! Hail, Queen of Creation! Our hope
is in thee.
15.
All hail, Virgin Mary! This Star guides our way, our country's Protectress, America's
Way!

The Apostle's Creed
† I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus
Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell; on the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended
into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence
He shall come to judge the living and the dead. R: I believe in the Holy
Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Our Father
† Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will
be done on earth as it is in heaven. R: Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead
us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
† Hail Mary, full of grace! the Lord is with Thee; blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. R: Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
† Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. R: As it
was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Fatima Prayer: "O My Jesus"
R:
O, my Jesus, forgive us our sins; save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls
to heaven, especially those in most need of Thy Mercy.
God, Our Father
R:
God, our Father, please send us holy priests. All for the Sacred and Eucharistic
Heart of Jesus, all for the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary in union with
St Joseph.
Ave Maria Song
R:
Ave, Ave, Ave Maria; Ave, Ave, Ave Maria.
Hail, Holy Queen
R:
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To
thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve! To thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this vale of tears! Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine
eyes of mercy towards us; and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit
of thy womb, Jesus! O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
† Pray for us, O holy Mother of God,
R:
that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Prayer after the Rosary
R:
O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death and resurrection, has purchased
for us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech Thee, that, meditating upon
these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate
what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.
† May the divine assistance remain always with us.
R:
And may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
Prayer to St. Michael
R:
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; Be our protection against the wickedness
and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou O Prince
of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell, Satan and all the other
evil spirits, who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Prayer for the Holy Father
† Let us pray for our Pope John Paul II.
R:
The Lord preserve him and give him life, and make him blessed upon earth, and deliver
him not up to the will of his enemies.
Say one (1) Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be...
R:
Lord, source of eternal life and truth, give to your shepherd John Paul a spirit
of courage and right judgement, a spirit of knowledge and love. By governing with
fidelity those entrusted to his care may he, as successor to the apostle Peter and
the vicar of Christ, build your Church into a sacrament of unity, love and peace
for all the world. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives
and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Angel of Peace Prayer - Fatima 1917
R:
Most Holy Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - I adore Thee profoundly. I offer
Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in
all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and
indifferences whereby He is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most
Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor
sinners.

The
Chaplet of Divine Mercy
In 1935, Jesus gave this devotion to a humble Polish nun, Sister Faustina. Jesus
gave her extraordinary promises of graces for those who would recite this prayer.
The devotion uses ordinary rosary beads and begins with an Our Father, Hail Mary
and The Apostles Creed. On the large bead before each decade of the Rosary say:
"Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly
beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole
world."
On the ten, small beads of each decade say: "For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
have mercy on us and on the whole world."
After praying for five decades, conclude by saying three times: "Holy God, Holy Mighty
One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world."
